Meet LFC's baby patients!

Hello everyone, this is Kawamitsu, LFC's representative. It has been getting more and more like winter recently, and we have been wearing down jackets more and more.

This time we would like to introduce a baby patient of LFC, Luka O`donnell, a 3-month-old boy. He was only about one month old when he first came to our Ginowan branch.

According to the mother, Rachael, LUKA cried a lot at night and his neck was turned all the way to the left, which is called "slouching neck" in Japan. We immediately examined LUKA's neck and found that his cervical vertebrae 1 and 2 were misaligned.

I immediately adjusted LUKA-kun's cervical spine by pressing lightly on the misaligned point with my index finger. It was only a five-minute adjustment, but LUKA-kun did not cry. He received the adjustment with a feeling of, "What is being done to me now?

A couple of weeks after the first session, I called the mother, Rachael, out of curiosity and she told me that it was better than before, but that she still had a slight tendency to cry at night and that her neck tended to turn all the way to the left. I asked her if she could take another look at my neck in the near future, as I was sure there was still some distortion. Rachael was very happy to accept my request.

By the time we saw LUKA for the second time, more than a month had already passed, so we were able to see how much his body had grown. By the third adjustment, about three months had passed, and Rachael was pleased to hear, "He's not crying at night anymore, and his neck is turning both ways! Rachael was happy with the results.

The patient in the photo below was at about the 6th visit. There was no distortion in the neck, but there was a small distortion in the left shoulder blade and right hip area, so we adjusted those two areas. Surprisingly, LUKA had never cried during the six adjustments so far. Normally, most children cry, which sometimes makes me feel anguished, but I do not have to worry about that with LUKA-kun at all. I even think that he probably instinctively knows that he is having his body adjusted.

I have dealt with many baby patients, the youngest being 6 days old, the next being 9 days old. The top three symptoms are: 1) pooping has stopped for about a week, 2) the baby's head turns in the same direction all the time, and 3) the baby's crying at night does not go away. LUKA-kun is the youngest patient since we opened the Yomitan branch in August, and LFC will continue to treat more and more babies and infants in the future. LFC will continue to serve more and more baby and toddler patients in the future.
