Today, Lydia, the mother of my best friend Olivia, who is 40 years younger than me, came to see me from the U.S. as a big surprise! Lydia and her family have been with us for two and a half years and returned to the US last February. My daughter Olivia and I are still great friends 🎶.

Lydia had decided to go on a business trip to Okinawa for work a month ago, so she immediately contacted our staff member Roy and asked him to keep it a secret that she was coming to see him as a surprise. Looking back on it now, I can see that Roy was very nervous about it.

When Roy called me last week, I went out on the floor and saw Lydia standing at the reception desk with flowers and a wonderful Lydia smile! I couldn't imagine Lydia being in Okinawa, so when I saw her I thought, "What? She looks just like Lydia! Is this a dream? My head was spinning for about 10 seconds! The moment I realized it was the real Lydia, I yelled out "Lydia! I called the director and immediately ran to Lydia and hugged her as hard as I could! I didn't let go for a while! I was so happy. !!!!! The director translated for me and told me about Olivia and the rest of the family and showed me pictures of Olivia and her sister Madison 🎶 It was a very happy time 🎶 Moreover, Lydia made 2 appointments for treatment and introduced me to 3 of her friends on the spot!

We are really, really happy that former patients are contacting and coming to see Roy like this.

PS: I have had many surprises in the past, but the first surprise from a real American was very touching!
