Today, as part of my study of technology and information gathering, I will report on my business trip to Tokyo.
It was my first visit to Tokyo since November, but it was still cold as we are in the middle of winter.
Dr. Shimada, who will appear in this issue, is a doctor in Kita-ku, Tokyo, who specializes mainly in treating patients with intractable diseases. He took time out of his busy work schedule to come all the way to Kanda to meet with us.
This time, we especially heard about the disease of ALS. He told us that he had dealt with several ALS patients and had revived two of them, which was very informative.
I would like to apply what I learned from Shimada-sensei to my treatment as soon as I return to Okinawa.
Thank you, Dr. Shimada, for taking time out of your busy schedule!
